The 16th Infantry Regiment Historical Society is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands committed to collecting, preserving and sharing the rich history of the U.S. 16th Infantry Regiment, so that all generations can understand the price of freedom.

All throughout the year, the Society works in a number of ways to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget. More specifically, our efforts are:

  • To collect and preserve historical records of the 16th Infantry Regiment from World War I to present day.

  • To participate in and coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies at America’s overseas military cemeteries.

  • To make every effort to provide the fullest possible accounting for missing 16th Infantrymen to their families and the nation.

  • To educate people about the history of the U.S. Army’s 16th Infantry Regiment.

Your contributions allow current and future generations to better
understand and appreciate the price of freedom.
