Citation: Victor J. Michieli, 36238818, First Sergeant, 16th Infantry. For meritorious service in connection with operations in the Army of Occupation in Germany from 8 July 1945 to 1 August 1946. During this period, as First Sergeant of Company “C”, Sergeant Michieli worked ceaselessly, devoting countless hours of his free time towards the competent management of his company. The skillful, capable manner in which Sergeant Michieli performed his duties contributed greatly to the high standard of efficiency obtained by his unit. Sergeant Michieli is hereby authorized to wear the Army Commendation Ribbon by direction of the Secretary of War. Residence at enlistment: Sheboygan Hills, Wisconsin.
