For meritorious service in connection with operations in the Army of Occupation in Germany from 1 January 1946 to 15 June 1946. Sergeant Sosinski, through his resourcefulness, technical skill, and enthusiasm, greatly contributed to the comfort and well-being of the men of his company and of other units within the company area. Confronted by many difficulties and equipped only with his personal capabilities and determination, he provided continuous recreation and entertainment of a very high quality for military personnel stationed fifty miles distant from the nearest established entertainment centers. With unselfish devotion to duty, Sergeant Sosinski worked tirelessly to improve living conditions and furnish recreational diversion for men leading and otherwise dull, monotonous existence. His contribution is largely responsible for the present high morale of the company and reflects the greatest credit upon himself and the military service. Sergeant Sosinski is hereby authorized to wear the Army Commendation Ribbon by direction of the Secretary of War. Residence at enlistment: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
