Citation: Ray J. Yantis, O465405, Captain, 16th Infantry. For meritorious service in connection with operations in the Army of Occupation in Germany from 18 January 1946 to 10 September 1946. As Commanding Officer, Service Company, 16th Infantry, Captain Yantis displayed exceptional energy and intelligence in maintaining a Service Company in his regiment worth of commendation by the Inspector General, Third U.S. Army. His accomplishments have set a high standard for all of the organizations within his unit, and reflects highly upon himself, his company, and the military forces of the United States. Captain Yantis is hereby authorized to wear the Army Commendation Ribbon by direction of the Secretary of War. Residence at appointment: Dublin, Texas.
