Citation: Edwin I. Heller, O1052385, First Lieutenant, Service Company, 16th Infantry. For meritorious service in connection with operations in the Army of Occupation in Germany from 20 March 1946 to 15 May 1946. During this period with the constant loss of personnel due to redeployment, Lieutenant Heller, as Personnel Adjutant of the 16th Infantry Regiment, demonstrated superior ability, initiative, and efficiency. His work and efforts were a prima factor in the maintenance of a high standard of administrative efficiency throughout the unit. Lieutenant Heller is hereby authorized to wear the Army Commendation Ribbon by direction of the Secretary of War. Residence at appointment: Seattle, Washington.
