A Soldier’s Story

The Society has collected numerous personal stories and accounts of people who experienced World War II. These oral histories contain vivid retellings and synthesis of the experience of the war through first-hand accounts and memories of the men who were there. None of these tales have been told before, and show a wholly unique slice of combat history, with some taken from interviews with veterans, and others from diaries, memoirs or letters.
